In this project, I reproduced a 3D model of Maschinenmensch from the Fritz Lang film Metropolis (1927), to display in a volumetric (photo frame type) display from a company called ‘Looking Glass’. The particular display I used was the Looking Glass Portrait.
Firstly a 3D model is imported into Unity which is then animated. The SDK provided by Looking Glass, then enables the 3D environment to be conveyed into the Looking Glass Display.
