Darlotech is formed from two words, Darlo and Tech. Maybe ‘Tech’ speaks for itself, we’re all about technology.
‘Darlo’ on the other hand is more subtle. It’s an abbreviation of Darlington, everyone from Darlo is familiar with this. Darlington is a town in County Durham where I, (DarloTechs founder), grew up. Well known in some circles for the Darlington and Stockton Railway, which ran the first passenger railway in the world in 1825.
Of course Darlington has a football team, not enough memory to do that subject justice here. But just one point in memory lane, the clubs ground used to be ‘Feethams’ with a twin tower entrance. Now sadly gone, but memories remain.
