The ‘car’ is driven by the fish. According to the fish’s position in the tank, the car steers accordingly.
Amongst other gadgets, I showed this to a class of primary school children in a general talk about technology. One question I got from a bright spark in the class was ‘can’t you make the car go up when the fish rises in the tank ?’. Wow,…… wow….. why didn’t I think of that !
That one thought led to an evolution of this project. No, I didn’t have the fish flying up in the air, but I had the fish control the flight path of a drone. Straightforward really, the position of the fish in the tank (x, y, z) now controls the position of the Drone in the air.
Adversities always come, the drone usually will have compatibility requirements with the programming environment, the operating system etc. etc. The machine learning libraries similarly, and sods law means the two don’t often match.
